Conversing with Jesus

Today I am praying for...

Susan, whose baby has Potter's Syndrome, also known as Renal Agenesis. What this means, is that the baby does not have kidneys and will not survive more than just a few hours after delivery.

Leslie, who has an ectopic pregnancy and is trying to make the best decision in order to respect the life of the fetus even though she cannot carry the child to term. I am praying that Mother Mary will carry her during this difficult time and that the Holy Spirit will guide her in making the right decision. I am also praying for her conversion.

a one-year-old named Bernadette in Ohio who was born prematurely and has suffered from a heart defect. The original surgery has failed, and she is in intensive care, hoping to be moved to Chicago for further treatment. I am praying for this little one and her family.

wisdom and discernment for David, who is divorced, and is being pressured by his girlfriend to get married.

healing for Harry, who has cancer and is continuing with chemotherapy.

Sandra Meisel's husband who is beginning chemotherapy.

healing for Fred's marriage.

discernment for Chris in whether or not to take temporary promises for the lay discalced Carmelites in October for three years or to wait for another year to decide.

the strength, health, and gifts needed to perform my apostolic work for the Lord.

those Oblates from the Community of St. John (Jean) who will be making their life-time Oblature this Pentecost.

an outpouring of the gifts and fruits of the Holy Spirit on all this Pentecost.
